1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Lazy Log service (“Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

Lazy Log (“we,” “our,” or “us”) provides a service that allows users to send messages via WhatsApp that are automatically integrated into their Notion workspace. These Terms govern your access to and use of the Service.

2. Description of Service

Lazy Log is a middleware service that:

• Receives messages from users via WhatsApp
• Processes these messages according to predefined templates
• Automatically adds information to the user’s Notion workspace
• Parses links and adds descriptions to make them easier to find

The Service requires connection to both WhatsApp and Notion accounts to function properly.

3. Account Registration & Requirements

To use Lazy Log, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old or have parental consent
• Have a valid WhatsApp account
• Have a valid Notion workspace
• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials

You are solely responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

4. User Conduct and Content

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe upon the rights of others
• Send spam, malware, or other malicious content
• Attempt to disrupt or compromise the security of the Service
• Automate access to the Service without our express permission

You retain ownership of all content you transmit through our Service, but you grant us a limited license to transmit, process, and store this content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

5. Third-Party Services

Our Service integrates with WhatsApp and Notion, which are governed by their own terms of service and privacy policies. By using our Service, you acknowledge that:

• You must comply with WhatsApp’s and Notion’s terms of service
• Changes to WhatsApp’s or Notion’s services may affect our Service
• We are not responsible for any changes or disruptions to these third-party services

6. Service Limitations & Modifications

We strive to maintain high availability of our Service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to:

• Modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service
• Impose limits on certain features or restrict access to parts of the Service
• Modify these Terms at any time by posting updated terms on our website

Your continued use of the Service after any changes to these Terms constitutes acceptance of those changes.

7. Data Handling & Privacy

8. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, and software code, are owned by Lazy Log and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, or exploit any part of the Service without our express written permission.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, or that any content will be accurate or reliable.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LAZY LOG SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:

• Your use or inability to use the Service
• Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers or personal information
• Any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the Service
• Any bugs, viruses, or other harmful code that may be transmitted through the Service

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lazy Log and its officers, directors, employees, and agents, from and against any claims, disputes, demands, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal and accounting fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including, without limitation, if you breach these Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. All provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

14. Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in San Francisco, California, unless we both agree to an alternative location.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that the Terms will otherwise remain in full force and effect and enforceable.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Lazy Log regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings, whether written or oral.
